The
Norman Gallery is located at Monksgrange in Rathnure, Co. Wexford
at the foot of the Blackstairs Mountains. The gallery opened in
2003 when the west wing of Monksgrange was renovated to provide
a gallery space. Since then The Norman Gallery has presented solo exhibitions of works by artists such as Philippa Bayliss, David Begley, Paddy Lennon, Anthony Lyttle, Julie Moorhouse, Celia Perceval, Patrick Pye RHA, Martha Quinn, Hanneke van Ryswyk, and Gwen Wilkinson. Annual group exhibitions have included both national and international artists during The Wexford Opera Festival. In 2012 The Norman Gallery will host a retrospective exhibition of prints by Italian artist Bruno Leti.

The
large sky-light and windows provide the gallery with natural light
and the high ceiling adds to the spaciousness of the gallery. The
gallery can accommodate paintings, both large and small, on the
stone walls and display screens can be provided if required. Medium
scale sculpture can also be displayed in the gallery. The Norman
Gallery is surrounded by beautiful gardens that are ideal for exhibiting
large scale sculpture.
